K-T 6011 is an all position cellulose coated electrode with the ultimate in operator appeal. Designed for AC power sources, but can be used on DC+ or DC-. Typical applications include light sheet metal fabrication, maintenance and repair welding, welding on galvanized steels, shipyards or general construction. Can be used to weld through paint, dirt, mill scale or rust. 82,000 PSI tensile strength. This product has a strong arc force and rapid solidification of weld metal which allows vertical or overhead welding. 6011 is good for jobs that have poor fit up in the joints, rusty or oily metals.
